Working on this ’67 GTO was Powerhouse Hot Rod’s chance to give a muscle car the muscle it deserved. We started with a stroke Pontiac 400 that has been punched to 463 ci featuring a March Performance pulley kit with a/c and power steering fed by a F.A.S.T. EZ EFI fuel injection series system is connected to a Turbo 400 trans with a 2200 stall converter. Spent gases exit through a pair of ceramic coated Hedman headers and Flowmaster exhaust system.

A Be Cool radiator and fan system with a a/c condenser helps keep the temperature down in both the engine and cabin. A stainless steel fuel tank by Rick’s Tanks which has an internal electric fuel pump holds the fuel. Power is sent outback to a Moser 12 bolt rear with 3.55 gears and positraction. Wilwood disc brakes with a polished master cylinder and booster help bring the car to a safe stop. The finishing touch to this GTO is rocket racing 17” and 18” rims wrapped in Goodyear rubber. Now this GTO has plenty of muscle to back up its ‘muscle car’ moniker.
