1970 Dodge Charger R/T

The owner of this 1970 Dodge Charger R/T brought it to PowerHouse Hot Rods to take on the task of upgrading without losing its character and cool style.

Our team retained the looks of it’s classic “Coke bottle” design, but greatly enhanced its performance.

Most importantly, the original 440 engine was bored out to 498 ci and pumps out 527 horsepower. An A727 Torqueflite automatic is now in charge of the gears and a custom 3” exhaust expels the spent gases. The Charger wears rims by Rocket Wheels with polished chrome. Smooth body panels are now black and polished to a glass-like finish.

Not content to call it finished, Powerhouse Hot Rods completely overhauled the interior to stock specs. The result is a car that will make any MOPAR fan drool – and many Ford and Chevy fans too.
